The biography of Simon Lunt over a 34 year career.
Hello, my name is Simon Lunt an award-winning designer with over 30 years experience working for some of the best advertising and design agencies in the world at senior level. I now work remotely for clients globally. Please read a summary of my career below.
Over the course of my career I have had the privilege of working with some of the world’s leading agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Mother, Publicis, Rapier, McCann Erickson, Iris, MRM, Meteorite, EHS Brann, Lida, M&C Saatchi’s and Friends of the Earth. Collaborating with such diverse and innovative teams has given me an extensive grounding in design, branding and creative direction, while also exposing me to a wide variety of industries and challenges.
I have worked on numerous high-profile projects, many of which have become instantly recognisable to millions of people. These include the complete re-branding of Tesco Clubcard, Churchill Insurance, Playboy UK and Scottish Widows. I have art directed photoshoots, created eye-catching posters for HMV, designed and produced Tesco Wine Club Magazine on a monthly basis, and used my typography skills to craft countless logos for both household names and emerging businesses. Each project has required a balance of creativity, precision and strategic thinking, all of which have become second nature to me over the years.
In recent years I have also specialised in Squarespace website design, creating hundreds of websites while continuing to produce print design and branding for clients across the globe. My clients range from small to medium-sized businesses through to exhibitors, retail stores, artists, musicians, engineers, consultants and professional photographers. I enjoy working with such a wide mix of people and industries, adapting my design skills to suit their unique needs.
Today I work remotely, serving clients across the UK, Europe, the United States, Canada and Australia. Having lived in London for 26 years, I am now based on the Wirral, an area of natural beauty in the United Kingdom, where I find inspiration in the fresh air and open spaces. Time zones are never an issue—I am flexible and communicate seamlessly with clients via email, Zoom or WhatsApp.
